Classes
Here is your opportunity to have fun learning something new or honing your techniques. We are very proud of our teachers and the wonderful classes they are offering.
Most of the class supplies are provided. Check the class details to see if you need to bring anything.
If you've never taken a gourd or basketry class, now is the time to take the plunge. Even better, get a friend to take a class with you! Most of our classes are designed to be easy enough for beginners, and fun for all levels of gourders and basket weavers.

Class Registration
Class registration is online only. You can make your payment through PayPal or by mailing us a check.
Registration fees include all the supplies you need unless noted in the class description page.
Be sure to put yourself on the waiting list if a class you want to take is full. If there is a cancellation, you will be notified regarding the opening.
For most classes, the class cancellation cut-off date is September 1, 2018--but be aware that there are some exceptions. The cancellation cut-off date is specified on the class registration payment page and in the confirmation email you receive after you have paid for the class.
If you cannot attend a class that you have registered for, you MUST contact us before the cancellation cut-off date for that class in order to receive a refund. Note that NGS will withhold $10 per cancelled class to cover processing fees. To cancel, call Patti Jo Newsom @ 817-917-7873 or email [email protected]
If a class does not meet the minimum number of students by the class cancellation cut-off date, the class will be cancelled, you will be contacted and your full registration fee will be refunded.
