Class description
Learn the ancient art of Kumihimo braiding by making a beautiful necklace with a glass Dichroic pendant. This type of braid can also be used for gourd rims which the teacher will explain but will not be made in this class.
This class is for all levels of gourders.
Each student will receive a Kumihimo braiding kit which is theirs to keep. The kit has everything that the student will need to make their necklace (see photo below). The kit contains a Kumihimo braiding disk, satin cords, end caps, glue, dichroic pendant and complete instructions.

Class Cancellation Policy

If a class does not meet the minimum number of students by the class cancellation cut-off date, the class will be cancelled, you will be contacted, and your full registration fee will be refunded.
About the instructor
Gail Kalt has been teaching gourd classes for over 15 years. She lives in Tucson, Arizona and has been decorating gourds for 20 years. She makes her own dichroic glass that is used in necklaces and inlayed in the gourds she decorates.
