Class description

Have you heard of the technique 'fluid painting' or of Unicorn Spit? This enjoyable class is for anyone who wants to experiment with Unicorn Spit and pouring medium. We will discuss various methods to use Unicorn Spit with gourds and prepare the paint for pouring. Each student will come away with a delightful and colorful bird on a stand. The beak will be gently hand carved from a gourd stem. We'll get messy but this technique is proven to be fun!

The instructor will provide a gourd, Unicorn Spit paint and pouring medium, base, stir sticks, paint cups, and tutorial.

What you are required to bring

Each student is required to bring the following items to class:

Gloves-more than one pair, apron or work-shirt, sand paper (about 180 to 320), tape for masking (example, 3M Green or Blue tape), paper towels, and a small box to take your treasure (which will still be wet) home in.
