Class description
Make a stunning wall hanging with handmade gourd paper and a shadow box. You will be making gourd paper for a wonderful Shaman and creating you own watercolor background. You will be designing the doll's head and painting a small gourd. Then once it is all put together, it will be stunning! Dimensions of the project: 8 x 10
Instructor will supply: Gourds, shadow box, gourd guts, feathers, beads, paints, dyes, and a written tutorial.
What you are required to bring
Students bring: Wood burner, dust mask, X-acto Knife, your favorite small paintbrush (optional).
About the instructor
Kristy Dial is an award winning artist with 25 years of experience.
She is Co-Chair of the Nevada Gourd Society. Director on the board of the American Gourd Society. Certified AGS judge.
